Maybe you’re planning a full wedding day surrounded by everyone you love. Maybe it’s the
two of you at the courthouse, your kids standing beside you, or a small gathering somewhere meaningful.
Maybe you care less about traditions and more about being present with your people.
There is no “right” way to get married.
Your wedding is one day. But it’s also one chapter in a much bigger story.
The people who gather with you matter. Parents. Grandparents. Children. Siblings.
Best friends. The people who knew you before there was an “us,” and the people who will be part of everything that comes afterward.
That’s one of the reasons I photograph weddings the way I do.
Of course I want the beautiful portraits and all of the details you’ve spent months planning.
But I’m also watching for the relationships happening around you, the hand squeeze, the ridiculous laugh, the grandparent watching from across the room, your kids being completely themselves, and the people you love simply being together.
Because as the years pass, wedding photographs become something different.
